Oil tycoon, Tex Richman (Chris Cooper)plans to demolish the Muppet Theater after oil was discovered beneath it. Three fans, namely; New Muppet Walter (the world’s biggest Muppet fan), Gary (Jason Segel), and Gary’s girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams)learned about Tex Richman’s plans. In order to save the Muppet theater they must help Kermit the Frog reunite with the Muppets and stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever!
